Vaillant ecoTEC plus models and outputs
The ecoTEC plus is Vaillant's core wall-hung gas boiler, now in a remastered version, and it comes as a combi or a system boiler. Bigger is not better: an oversized boiler cycles on and off and wastes gas, so we size it on the survey.

Vaillant guarantees, explained
Vaillant gives the ecoTEC plus a 5 year guarantee as standard. It can be extended to 10 years when the boiler is fitted by a Vaillant myREWARDS installer and registered with a Boiler Protection Kit or Advanced Boiler Protection Kit, which is a system filter.
A yearly service by a Gas Safe registered engineer keeps the guarantee valid. We confirm the exact guarantee for your boiler on your quote and register it for you after the installation.
Controls and LPG
The ecoTEC plus works with Vaillant's myVAILLANT connect for app control and energy optimisation, and with the sensoCOMFORT weather compensation control, which adjusts the boiler to the temperature outside. We can fit smart thermostats from other makers too.
Many ecoTEC plus models can be adapted to run on LPG, which helps off-grid homes. Vaillant lists the 40 kW combi, the 40 kW store combi and the 35 kW system model as not LPG adaptable, so we pick a suitable model for LPG installations.
