If you live in one of the period houses on Wolborough Hill or around Courtenay Park, the house may sit in a conservation area, and a new flue on the street side could draw attention from planners. We favour a side or rear wall where we can and explain the options at the survey.

Homes on the low streets near the River Lemon have flooded in the past. If yours has, think about moving the boiler off the ground floor while the replacement is happening anyway. It is far easier to do as part of the job than as a separate piece of work later.
